The easiest way to know if you are doing something that is profound or meaningful is to know if you are experiencing fear. That tickle in your stomach, the raw fear that you may be laughed at, judged, snickered at. Oh he tried. Oh she didn’t know what she was doing that’s why she failed.
The minute you feel that. You know you’re doing something that means something to the world. Too many people try to fight their fears back or to avoid them completely. It’s why you hear so many “When I” stories. Fear. Is a fundamentally profound thing that we as humans need to have. In a world where you don’t have to worry about predators, food, shelther…there is little to fear. Which means when you do feel it. You are on the right track because the only way to grow is to do the things we worry about, stress about and fear.
